Overview

GAZ 104 SA is a high-quality Angular Contact Spherical Plain Bearing offered by SRG.​​Spherical plain bearings are strong and self-aligning plain bearings, consisting of an outer ring and an inner ring made of bearing steel, with a spherical sliding contact surface, and excel in withstanding impact loads. These bearings are highly resistant to such loads and are suitable for oscillating parts that operate under slow but large loads.

1. Types of spherical plain bearings

Radial spherical plain bearings: The inner ring has a spherical convex outer diameter and the outer ring has a matching spherical concave inner surface.
Angular contact spherical plain bearings: The shape is spherical and is at a certain angle relative to the bearing axis
Thrust spherical plain bearings: The shaft ring is designed with a convex spherical surface and the bearing race is designed with a matching concave spherical surface.
